Yaarana is a 1981 Indian film directed by Rakesh Kumar and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Amjad Khan, Neetu Singh, Tanuja and Kader Khan. This was one of the films where Amjad Khan plays a positive role. Nearly all of his other films with Amitabh Bachchan have been where he plays a villain role.Kishan (Amitabh Bachchan) is a village farmer who has a great voice for singing. Bishan (Amjad Khan) is his childhood friend gets separated in childhood when Bishan is taken away by his mother to the city for studies. Bishan comes back as a successful city businessman, to take Kishan to the city and make him famous for his talent. He refuses. Kishan goes to the city with his friend, where Bishan asks Komal (Neetu Singh) to turn the farmer into a gentleman.Finally Kishan becomes a star and Komal falls in love with him. Bishan is kidnapped by his uncle.
